When pulled down, the menu bar looks like this: The default toolbar looks like the following (you may need to click and drag the toolbar to the right to see all the icons):Ī Read & Write menu appears at the uppermost top left of the screen when Read & Write starts. Most functions are located in the Read & Write toolbar, which appears on the screen when Read & Write starts. Read & Write works directly with applications such as Microsoft Word and Web browsers. Choose it to open the Read & Write toolbar. Read & Write is installed on all Sites Macintosh computers. Read & Write is software with tools to help reading, writing, and studying. A Windows version and iPad version are also available. You can access Screen Share by updating your reMarkable paper tablet to the latest software version. Note: As of January 2022, LiveView has been discontinued and replaced by Screen Share. The highlighter will show as different shades of grey on your reMarkable, but appears in color on exported documents and in Screen Share.Ĭhoose between red and blue when you're using the fineliner, marker or ballpoint pen while presenting with Screen Share. When you're presenting with Screen Share, you can use the highlighter tool to highlight text in yellow, green, or pink. You can switch from portrait to landscape view from your device while Screen Share is active. This means that you can switch between documents while sharing your screen without showing your audience any of your private files or notebooks. Screen Share will not show the My files home screen on your device, only one document at a time. To use it, hold your Marker tip just above the display and a red dot will appear in your desktop app window. You have a pointer functionality in Screen Share for drawing attention to different parts of the page. To stop Screen Share tap on the share icon in the sidebar menu, then tap Stop sharing your screen.
